Kelly Nedwick, PhD

Dr. Nedwick earned her PhD in Linguistics from Yale University where she also worked as an adjunct and then the Assistant Director of the Yale Summer English Language Institute. She has been teaching English to international students for over 10 years to students of all ages, backgrounds, and personal goals. From English for Doctoral Engineering students to Accent reduction 1-on-1 tutoring, she has used her considerable knowledge and compassionate nature to motivate students to achieve their dreams. Dr. Nedwick has also consulted on development of ESL programs for American universities, as well as teaching linguistics, communications, and speech-language pathology courses in the tri-state area.
I have been teaching English for over 12 years in America, Turkey, Georgia, and Iran. I volunteered as an interpreter in support of refuges and asylum seekers in California. I earned a baccalaureate degree in pure mathematics. I also obtained a degree in teaching English as a second language. I developed an interest in learning languages at the age of four, and now speaks 4 languages.
